I was pondering a woman's plight I heard about today. She was driving a loaner car from a auto shop where her car was being worked on; her car needing several days to repair.
What occurred to me is that when we contemplate the behavior of entities who have power over us, we as Human beings tend to feel that they are going to pull a fast one on us. Such entities include the government, big business, and your neighborhood auto mechanic.
What power do these entities hold over us? The power of the government is obvious. Big business makes our lives convenient but requires us to have
give them money for such convenience. What the Mechanic holds over us is knowledge.
Question is, can we trust any of these entities? For now, unless you have infinite knowledge, we just have to hope for the best.
